I have an AEG Electrolux hob, which is ten years old without any problems. One hot plate/ring comes on when I switch the hob on generally without using the controls for that particular ring. Also the same ring/hot plate comes on when the ring next to it is being used.
The problem is the hob itself is sealed into the worktop so I want to make sure what the problem is before digging out the appliance from he workshop itself.
