No alarm signal
- Issue:
- The main control board in your oven has failed to communicate with the alarm.
- Advice:
- Replace main electronic controller. This is most likely a fault with the control board itself, which may need replacing.

Door will not lock
- Issue:
- If there is an issue with the door lock in your appliance you may see this error code.
- Electronics could be defective.
- Since an error be only a software problem before booking an engineer it is recommended to reset your appliance.
- Reset can be done by unplugging the appliance from the socket, wait 30 seconds and plug it back again.
- If you do not have access to the socket, you may also achieve the same result via the circuit breaker of your home.
- After plugging in the appliance to the socket, start the appliance and test it.

Door will not unlock
- Issue:
- Door not closed properly or door lock defective. The opposite fault to the above, this fault indicates your oven door won’t unlock. Once again you’ll need to check the door lock mechanism and its wiring and connections. This fault could also be down to the oven thermostat as this could be giving an incorrect temperature reading, preventing the door lock from being released.

Self test error
- Issue:
- Operating electronics defective.
- Since an error could be only a software problem before booking an engineer it is recommended to reset your appliance.
- Reset can be done by unplugging the appliance from the socket, wait 30 seconds and plug it back again.
- If you do not have access to the socket, you may also achieve the same result via the circuit breaker of your home.
- After plugging in the appliance to the socket, start the appliance and test it.

- Disconnect oven from mains power
- Wait five minutes with no mains connected
- Reconnect oven and restart

Shorted or open circuit oven temperature sensor
- Issue:
- Temperature Sensor Fault - If you see this error code you’ll need to check your temperature sensor and the wiring and connections between the sensor and the main control board. You may need to replace the sensor.
- Temperature sensor defective.

My oven shows the error message "F5" or "F6" in the display.
- Issue:
- Electronics defective.

Power supply problem to interface
- Issue:
- Power Supply Issue to Control Board
The main control board is not receiving power as it should. Check the wiring and connections to it. If all the connections are fine, you’ll possibly need to replace the control board. - Advice:

- Issue:
- E1010 indicates the temperature inside the cavity has got too high.

- E2020 followed by E20:

SAFE
My oven shows the message "SAFE" in the display.
- Issue:
- The Safety Block is active and the oven functioning is blocked. This can be useful, for example to stop it being used by children.
- To unlock it, refer to the User Instruction manual
- It can be released in AEG KB98xx/KM98xx models by simultaneously pressing in the ["+" and "-"] or ["P" and "-"] buttons. "P" is the Programme button here.
- Advice:
- It can be released in other appliances by pressing the Stop button for 3 seconds.
d
My oven shows the message "d" in the display.
- Issue:
- "d" is shown in the display and the oven does not heat and the fan does not operate: Test mode is switched on.
- Advice:
- Switch off the appliance. Touch and hold both "P" and "+" buttons at the same time, until signal sounds and "d" display goes out. If the fault persists, , please arrange an engineer visit. The temperature indicator of my oven is blinking.
- Issue:
- The temperature indicator switches ON and OFF every time when the heating element is activated.

My oven shows an error message in the display.
