How to clear LG Washing machine Error Code tE?
LG Washing Machine tE Error Code indicates a HEATING SENSOR ERROR.

BEFORE REPLACING ANY PARTS OR DISASSEMBLING YOUR LG Washing machine TRY THIS QUICK TIP TO CLEAR THE tE ERROR CODE:

1 – Remove the Washing machine from Power for 30 Seconds.

2 – Resupply Power to the LG Washing Machine and Press the POWER BUTTON.

3 – Press the SPIN SPEED button until “NO SPIN” is highlighted.

4 – When the Washer has Fully Drained out the Water – Restart the Washing Cycle.

5 – This may Reset the LG Washing machine and Clear the tE Error Code

The 2 parts that will cause the tE error code on your LG Washing machine are:

1 – The DRUM THERMISTOR IS FAULTY or has LOOSE WIRING.

2 – The HEATING ELEMENT IS FAULTY or has LOOSE WIRES.

To fix your LG Washing machine and clear the tE error code:
CHECK DRUM THERMISTOR FOR LOOSE WIRING:

1 – Unplug the LG Washing Machine From Power.

2 – Check the Wire Connections on the Drum Thermistor. (AKA = Temperature Sensor)

3 – Reconnect The Wires Going To and From The Drum Thermistor If Loose.

TEST THE WASHER AND SEE IF THE LOOSE WIRING CONNECTION ON THE DRUM THERMISTOR WAS THE ISSUE. IF ERROR CODE tE PERSISTS.

CHECK DRUM THERMISTOR FOR PROPER MEASUREMENT OF RESISTANCE/OHMS:

1 – Check the Resistance of the Drum Thermistor using a Multi-Meter/Ohms Meter.

2 – The Resistance Will Measure About 40000 Ohms at 85F.

3 – If the Resistance Is Not 40000 Ohms then the Drum Thermistor is Faulty and needs to be Replaced.

AFTER REPLACING THE DRUM THERMISTOR – TEST THE WASHER TO BE SURE THE tE ERROR CODE IS CLEARED AND ISSUE IS FIXED. IF ERROR CODE tE PERSISTS.
