I have a Haier HW70 washing machine that was working satisfactorily until the end of last week when an Err2 code was displayed.

I checked the filter but no blockage. I removed the waste pipe from the pump and attached a hose reel to the waste pipe before turning water supply on and flushing through the pipework. The water leading into the outside drain was clear and there appeared to be no obstruction within any of the pipework.

I used the machine successfully again for about four more washes before the Err2 re-appeared.

I again checked the pipework and also fitted a new pump ( thinking perhaps the motor on the original pump was worn and tired ).

The machine will wash but stops when the display gets to around 11 before showing the Err2.

Any help and advice appreciated
