My AEG Washer Dryer Kombi 1700 is showing a E40 error code with the door jammed shut.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that the machine (out of warranty and purchased in the UK) is in France and, currently, I'm in Australia trying to troubleshoot from here!
Does anyone have any advice about how to (a) diagnose and (b) rectify the fault?
If a technician is needed, does anyone have any suggestions about who to turn to in the South of France (near Spain)?
Any input would be most welcome.
