My AEG dryer does not rotate.

Hi there,
My AEG lavamat dryer drum does not turn once switched on. It heats up - makes normal noises but the drum dosn't rotate.
I have it for about a year and no problems. Please advise on possible solutions. Thank you for your time. K.
