We have purchased a lamona touch control black angles cookerhood. The gas engineer has come and suggested that due to how hot the appliance got after 30 seconds of the gas hob underneath being on that we move it the recommended amount above the gas stove the chimney section has to be cut. Do you have any alternatives? Could you please confirm the minimum distance required between the hob and the cooker hood base?
