When switching on hob there is a flashing of 8 or 88 in the timer area and the left positions fail to switch on. Operating the stop go function with hob on sometimes switches the left positions on for a brief time. Further operation of the stop go switches the flashing off. Switching mains on and off has no effect on the fault
