Error is Clicking Sound/Faulty Compressor Start Relay
Replace the Compressor Start Relay

The Refrigerator Compressor RELAY is faulty. The refrigerator is probably making a clicking noise. This is why your LG refrigerator is NOT cooling. All lights should work but the compressor will not turn on and therefore the refrigerator or freezer will not be cool, cold, or frozen.

HOW TO FIX ERROR 22 ON LG REFRIGERATOR:

• Use caution and unplug the refrigerator.
  
• Slide out refrigerator from the wall.
  
• Remove panel if applicable.
  
• Find the compressor start relay near the compressor.
  
• Remove it and replace with new.
  
• Be sure wires are put onto the same terminals as the old one.
  
• Install back panel if applicable.
  
• Plug fridge back in and test.
  
• Slide fridge back into place.
  
• Give the fridge some time to start the compressor.
  
• Once you hear the compressor turn back ON you know your fridge is now fixed.
  
• If fridge does not start (compressor start) check wiring.
  

I have changed out the compressor start relay and the code is still there

Some issue. Error code 22. Replaced relay and still won’t cool and I am still getting error code 22. Cleaned everything and checked wiring.

Same response as all with code 22 I replaced everything including wiring. So what gives? Nothing fixed it.

I find out with a fluke meter the terminals at the new compressor they are not the same position,,,fc75lane the one LG sent me the right connection are the bottom pins(different than the other old one)

Discard the white plastic connectors block and get a pin connectors and make if fit to the compressor pins,, soonest you get them ready just use the terminals at the bottom!

I ohm's the terminals to prove it!

It's running after 3 different compressors from LG,tech support staff don't know those terminals are inverted now!😎
