I have a John Lewis JLDWW906 with error i10 (filling error). Machine makes continuous pump sound even after turning off using front on/off button (display goes blank), stops when turned off at wall, but continues after turning back on. No water entering the machine.
Previously I cleaned inlet hose filter that was clogged and this seemed to fix the problem for a few days but it has now returned.
Assuming it is likely the inlet valve malfunctioning which I can replace but is there anything else I should check before I spend £30 on a new part?
