My Hoover HFI550 dishwasher is coming up with an E3 code, which I believe related to the temperature sensor/element.
How easy is it to check this out myself?
Is it something which is easy to get back together again (I have had appliances that once you take a cover off they seem to lose their form and it turns into a bit of a game trying to get it back together again without cutting yourself!... Although admittedly I will just get comments telling me to wear gloves)?
Where is the sensor and element located? What am I looking for with regards to them not working correctly (voltage or resistance readings?).
Is it likely that there is a repair for this fault, or should I look to order the parts in view of change-out.?

Thanks.
