Our oven model HOC3250IN type MR05 is showing us error 6 and the only information I can find is that the motherboard has exceeded 85 degrees Celsius and that we should “check reason for overheat detection”.

There is seemingly no advice on HOW to check the reason for overheat detection, I assumed if I left the oven off it would sort itself out but turning it on and off at the plug after letting it cool for a while (door open) is still giving us the error 6 message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
