I have a Falcon Range cooker with induction hob which is just out of warranty and has developed a fault with the hob. The far right 2 hobs no longer work and it flashes E6.

Any thoughts what the cause may be?

I have been quoted an incredible sum to fix this, so would value any advice as to whether it is within the gift of your average person to fix. If not I will be buying a new range and not a Falcon.

Also I was informed that there is a known issue with steam from the oven causing the induction hob to trip out, anyone else had a similar experience.
