Falcon Continental induction range 10+ yrs old. 1092 mm wide.

The 2 LH rings sometimes won't turn down from high to low. Or not as low as is set. However by moving the pan off and on the ring it will often trigger the lower setting, oddly.
Trying a new indicator control unit pcb but getting er31 code which i think is it needing configuration? Can't work out how to do that. Any ideas? Just got knobs to turn.
Replaced a couple of energy regulators which cured rings clicking on by themselves!
