De Dietrich Gas Hob DTG420x Error code E6

I have a DE Dietrich DTG420x Gas Hob which failed suddenly. The sequence of error codes is,
F2, 46, 19 ending with E6.
Also, it seems that there are no spares available since this hob is about 15 years old now.

Any advice beyond recycling the hob and replacing it would be welcome.
