Belling Kensington 1100 DF timer showing Error 81 ?

The timer on my15 year old Belling Kensington 1100 Dual Fuel cooker has started beeping unreasonably, and after 'rebooting' showing the text 'Error 81'.

Any idea what this might be and how I could fix it?
