Advice for a problem with the induction hob on a Smeg TR931P

Hi, my Smeg 'Victoria' electric range cooker with induction hob (think the reference is TR931P) has a problem - when I try and switch on any of the hobs it flashes '4' and 'E' alternately. Please help!
